December 8, 2023: Hawkins, TX 75765 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) and the host Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX), saw Queen City's basketball squad overcome Hawkins by a tally of 59-45.
With the victory, Queen City improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to confront the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Rabbits come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Atlanta won 70-60 in their recent non-league challenge against New Boston (New Boston, TX)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Hawkins will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
