December 8, 2023: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 In Friday's non-league outing, the Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD), by a margin of 70-12.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Falcons go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Central was trounced by Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD), 64-36, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29.
