South Carolina High School Basketball - Pickens crushes Liberty

December 8, 2023: Pickens, SC 29671

Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC), 83-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pickens upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Blue Flame travel to Walhalla (Walhalla, SC) to clash with the Razorbacks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Razorbacks go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Walhalla lost 70-48 in their recent non-league bout against Rabun County (Tiger, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 62-28 non-league win over Liberty (Liberty, SC).
