Oklahoma High School Basketball - Tahlequah holds off McAlester
December 8, 2023: Tahlequah, OK 74464 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK), saw Tahlequah's basketball squad hold off McAlester by a tally of 56-54.
With the victory, Tahlequah betters its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK) to battle the Hornets in a 5A District 3 contest on Saturday, December 9. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 4-0. Booker T. Washington won 61-45 in their recent non-league contest against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK)
The Buffaloes (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK). The Ropers come into the 5A District 4 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Will Rogers College was nudged by Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
