Michigan High School Basketball - Sturgis can't hold off Plainwell

December 8, 2023: Plainwell, MI 49080

The Plainwell Trojans basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Sturgis Trojans to 39 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Three Rivers for a Wolverine B contest on Tuesday, December 12. Plainwell will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 60-25 league loss to Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Otsego (Otsego, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Wolverine B contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Otsego edged Niles (Niles, MI), 62-43, in a league contest.
