Oregon High School Basketball - Stayton fells St. Helens
December 8, 2023: St. Helens, OR 97051 Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR), 51-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stayton upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, OR) to clash with the Billies in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Billies go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Pleasant Hill lost 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Coquille (Coquille, OR)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs (Milwaukie, OR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. St. Helens will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 71-35 non-league loss to Lincoln (Portland, OR).
