California High School Basketball - Silverado nips Cabrillo
December 8, 2023: Long Beach, CA 90810 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA) and the host Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA), saw Silverado's basketball squad hold off Cabrillo by a count of 53-50.
With the victory, Silverado upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Culver City (Culver City, CA) to play the Centaurs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Centaurs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Jaguars play the Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Cabrillo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 69-25 non-league win over Pomona (Pomona, CA).
