North Carolina High School Basketball - Gaston Christian crushes Metrolina Christian Academy

December 8, 2023: Indian Trail, NC 28079

Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC), 65-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Gaston Christian upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Indians in a bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Metrolina Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 57-36 league win over Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC).
