North Carolina High School Basketball - Richlands tops Southwest Onslow

Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), 30-19 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Richlands upgrades its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-1. East Duplin won 64-25 in their recent non-league bout against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Southwest Onslow will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 43-21 non-league loss to Kinston (Kinston, NC).
