Mississippi High School Soccer - Forest nudges Morton
December 8, 2023: Forest, MS 39074 Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Morton Panthers (Morton, MS), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bearcats confront the Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Forest will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 7-2 league loss to Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS).
The Panthers now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Pisgah for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. Morton will confront a Dragons team coming off a 1-1 league Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 3-3.
