New York High School Basketball - Jackson-Reed bests Iona Prep

The Jackson-Reed Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Iona Prep Gaels to 54 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Tigers now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ballou for a DCSAA A game on Monday, December 9. Jackson-Reed will confront a Knights team coming off a 74-55 non-league win over Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Iona Prep falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Monsignor Scanlan (Bronx, NY) to confront the Crusaders in a Catholic AA - New York game on Tuesday, December 10. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 1-1. Monsignor Scanlan lost 87-76 in their recent non-league game against Christ the King (Middle Village, NY)
