In Monday's non-league contest, the host Jefferson Democrats basketball team scored a good 67-48 triumph over the Torres Toros.

The Democrats (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Santee (Los Angeles, CA). The Falcons go into the Exposition contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Santee was toppled by Dr. Maya Angelou Community (Los Angeles, CA), 61-40, in a league contest.
