December 8, 2025: Hawarden, IA 51023 Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA), 56-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sheldon upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Orabs host Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to face the Generals in a Siouxland game on Tuesday, December 9. The Generals go into the game with a record of 1-2. Sibley-Ocheyedan won 74-51 in their recent non-league game against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA)
With the loss, West Sioux falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to St. Mary's (Remsen, IA) to confront the Hawks in a War Eagle game on Tuesday, December 9. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 0-1. St. Mary's lost 51-27 in their recent league game against Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA)
