The Franklin Knights basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Cochranton Cardinals to 31 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Maplewood for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Franklin will confront a Tigers team coming off a 33-29 non-league win over Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Cochranton falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA) to clash with the Devils in a District 10 Region 2 outing on Thursday, December 11. The Devils enter the outing with a record of 0-3.
