December 9, 2021: Hampton, IA Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA), 50-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hampton-Dumont/CAL upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The host Webster City (Webster City, IA) to clash with the Lynx in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Lynx go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Webster City lost 53-42 in their recent league bout against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA)
Next up, the Green Devils clash with the Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA) in a North Iowa bout, on Saturday, December 11. Osage will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 57-40 league win over West Hancock (Britt, IA).
