December 9, 2021: Georgetown, KY 40324 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), by a margin of 86-46.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, South Laurel smashed West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY), 57-45, in a non-league outing.
The Generals now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Jessamine for a non-league outing on Friday, December 10. Lafayette will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 57-45 non-league loss to South Laurel (London, KY). The Colts record now stands at 0-3.
