The Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL), 73-54 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Aggies (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Central of Clay County (Lineville, AL). The Volunteers go into the 5A Area 8 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Central of Clay County went down by Handley (Roanoke, AL), 60-55, in a non-league test.

The Golden Bears now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Moody for a 5A Area 11 test on Tuesday, December 14. Lincoln will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 62-39 league win over St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-5.
