The Mankato East Cougars basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting St. Peter Saints to 52 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South St. Paul for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 11. Mankato East will battle a Packers team coming off a 86-71 non-league win over Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Packers record now stands at 2-0.
