Missouri High School Basketball - North Nodaway nips Bedford
December 9, 2021: Hopkins, MO 64461 North Nodaway Mustangs (Hopkins, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bedford Bulldogs (Bedford, IA), 35-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, North Nodaway upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Worth County (Grant City, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 10. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-5.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the East Union Eagles (Afton, IA) in a Pride of Iowa - West bout, on Friday, December 10. Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 74-49 non-league loss to Earlham (Earlham, IA).
