Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Troy Colts (Troy, MI), 51-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berkley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Athens (Troy, MI) to play the Red Hawks in a Oakland - White bout on Monday, December 20. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Colts play the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 11. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 89-74 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI).
