Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) and the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), saw Arleta's basketball squad hold off Poly by a count of 62-56.

With the victory, Arleta upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to play the Lancers in a East Valley challenge on Monday, December 12. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Grant won 114-28 in their recent league challenge against Chavez (San Fernando, CA)

Next up, the Parrots play the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Monday, December 12. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 56-49 league win over North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA).
