The Big Rapids Cardinals basketball team scored 33 points and held the host Reed City Coyotes to 16 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fremont for a Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes contest on Tuesday, December 13. Big Rapids will meet a Packers team coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Ludington (Ludington, MI). The Packers record now stands at 1-1.

The Coyotes (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Grant, MI). The Tigers enter the Central State - Gold contest with a 2-1 record.
