New York High School Basketball - St. Mary's holds off Bishop Kearney
December 9, 2022: Manhasset, NY 11030 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Mary's Gaels (Manhasset, NY) and the visiting Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad hold off Bishop Kearney by a tally of 71-67.
With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Geneva (Geneva, NY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Kings confront the Francis Lewis Patriots (Fresh Meadows, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Bishop Kearney will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
