December 9, 2022: Hyattsville, MD 20782 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwestern Wildcats (Hyattsville, MD) and the visiting College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD), saw Northwestern's basketball squad hold off College Park Academy by a tally of 53-46.
With the victory, Northwestern improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to DuVal (Lanham, MD) to play the Tigers in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. DuVal lost 63-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Next up, the play the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. College Park Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
