Oklahoma High School Basketball - Hominy thwarts Commerce
December 9, 2022: Commerce, OK 74339 The Hominy Bucks (Hominy, OK) basketball knocked off the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK), 53-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bucks (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Pawnee (Pawnee, OK). The Black Bears go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Pawnee went down by Yale (Yale, OK), 74-68, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Afton for a Lucky Seven test on Tuesday, December 13. Commerce will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 78-39 non-league loss to Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
