In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Community Christian Warriors basketball team scored a good 48-30 triumph over the Covington Owls.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Aquilla Cougars (Aquilla, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 10. Community Christian will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 40-30 non-league loss to Avalon (Avalon, TX).

With the defeat, Covington moves to 8-2 on the year. The Owls host Bartlett (Bartlett, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 10. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-3. Bartlett lost 53-43 in their recent non-league match against Nazarene Christian Academy (Crowley, TX)
