December 9, 2022: Newtown Square, PA 19066 The Downingtown East Cougars basketball team (Exton, PA), was nudged 51-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA)
The Churchmen now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Bucks South for a non-league battle on Monday, December 19.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against East (West Chester, PA). The Vikings come into the Ches-Mont - National battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, East edged Collegium Charter (Exton, PA), 67-38, in a non-league battle.
