Maryland High School Basketball - Liberty holds off Edgewood
December 9, 2022: Sykesville, MD 21784 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) and the visiting Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD), saw Liberty's basketball squad hold off Edgewood by a tally of 62-59.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions host Walkersville (Walkersville, MD) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Walkersville won 56-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Linganore (Frederick, MD)
Next up, the Rams confront the Kenwood Bluebirds (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Edgewood will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bluebirds come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Dundalk (Baltimore, MD).
