Colorado High School Basketball - Sierra Grande can't hold off Ellicott

The Ellicott Thunderhawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Sierra Grande Panthers to 58 in the Thunderhawks non-league victory on Friday.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colorado Springs Christian for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest on Tuesday, December 13. Ellicott will battle a Lions team coming off a 55-46 non-league win over Fowler (Fowler, CO). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kim/Branson (Kim, CO). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Kim/Branson was nudged by Raton (Raton, NM), 51-45, in a non-league contest.
