Missouri High School Basketball - Glendale routs Venus
December 9, 2022: Springfield, MO 65804 In Friday's non-league outing, the Glendale Falcons (Springfield, MO) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX), by a count of 96-43.
The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bolivar (Bolivar, MO). The Liberators go into the Ozarks outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Bolivar smashed Helias (Jefferson City, MO), 70-55, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Stephenville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 13. Venus will clash with a Yellow Jackets/Honeybees squad coming off a 58-32 non-league win over De Leon (De Leon, TX). The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees record now stands at 7-7.
