Mississippi High School Basketball - St. Joseph overwhelms Indianola Academy
December 9, 2022: Greenville, MS 38701 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Joseph Fighting Irish (Greenville, MS) and the visiting Indianola Academy Colonels (Indianola, MS), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad wallop Indianola Academy by a tally of 63-33.
With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish host Central Holmes Christian (Lexington, MS) to play the Trojans in a MAIS 4A District 2 challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Central Holmes Christian lost 56-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri-County Academy (Flora, MS)
Next up, the Colonels play the St. Joseph Fighting Irish (Greenville, MS) in a MAIS 4A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Indianola Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
