Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Shippensburg topped by Milton Hershey

December 9, 2022: Hershey, PA 17033

The Milton Hershey Spartans basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Shippensburg Greyhounds to 64 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mechanicsburg for a Mid-Penn - Keystone contest on Tuesday, December 13. Milton Hershey will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 45-32 non-league loss to Red Lion (Red Lion, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.

The Greyhounds (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern York (Wrightsville, PA). The Golden Knights come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Eastern York prevailed over Susquehanna Township (Harrisburg, PA), 64-39, in a non-league contest.
