Maryland High School Basketball - Rock Creek Christian Academy topped by New Town
December 9, 2022: Owings Mills, MD 21117 The New Town basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Rock Creek Christian Academy Eagles to 45 in the non-league victory on Friday.
The now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randallstown for a Baltimore County 2 contest on Tuesday, December 13. New Town will battle a Rams team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Carver Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Warriors come into the Freelance contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Mt. Zion Prep Academy dropped by The Rock (Gainesville, FL), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
