The Virginia City Muckers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Pahranagat Valley Panthers to 22 in the Muckers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Muckers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mineral County for a 1A Central contest on Saturday, December 10. Virginia City will battle a Serpents team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Serpents record now stands at 6-2.

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against McDermitt (McDermitt, NV). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, McDermitt was routed by Coleville (Coleville, CA), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
