The Valley View Tigers topped the visiting Progreso Red Ants basketball team by a final score of 60-44 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 10. Valley View will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Tarpons enter the game with a 10-3 record after their 62-44 non-league win over Macedonian Christian (Alamo, TX).
