Minnesota High School Basketball - Tartan can't hold off Richfield
December 9, 2022: Richfield, MN 55423 The Richfield Spartans basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Tartan Titans to 53 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benilde-St. Margaret's for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Richfield will battle a Red Knights team coming off a 82-78 non-league win over Alexandria (Alexandria, MN). The Red Knights record now stands at 1-0.
The Titans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hopkins edged Farmington (Farmington, MN), 86-80, in a non-league contest.
