In Friday's non-league outing, the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), by a margin of 94-66.

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Red Jackets go into the AA Region 2 outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Jordan was trounced by Brookstone (Columbus, GA), 63-55, in a non-league outing.

The Cobras now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dodge County for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Twiggs County will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Bleckley County (Cochran, GA). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.
