Texas High School Basketball - Burnet fells Canyon Lake
December 9, 2022: Burnet, TX 78611 Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX), 48-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Burnet upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Brownwood (Brownwood, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Brownwood lost 55-36 in their recent non-league match against Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX)
With the defeat, Canyon Lake moves to 5-7 on the year. The travel to Navarro (Geronimo, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 4A Region IV District 27 match on Tuesday, December 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 16-3.
