The Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball crushed the visiting South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC), 60-23 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record.

The Thunder now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Metrolina Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. South Charlotte Thunder will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-23 league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
