December 9, 2022: Knoxville, TN 37923 The Webb Spartans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Dobyns-Bennett Indians to 41 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morristown-Hamblen East for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Webb will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 61-59 non-league loss to Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-3.
The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Wise (Norton, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Central Wise prevailed over Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
