California High School Basketball - Hollister can't hold off Monta Vista
December 9, 2022: Cupertino, CA 95014 The Monta Vista Matadors basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Hollister Haybalers to 54 in the Matadors non-league victory on Friday.
The Matadors now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irvington for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Monta Vista will battle a Vikings team coming off a 67-49 non-league win over Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
The Haybalers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Monte Vista Christian was nudged by Irvington (Fremont, CA), 67-49, in a non-league contest.
