In Friday's non-league outing, the Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) basketball squad beat the host Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), by a margin of 46-37.

The Dragons (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, Madisonville was beaten by Fairfield (Fairfield, TX), 61-38, in a non-league outing.
