North Carolina High School Basketball - Hibriten can't hold off Foard
December 9, 2022: Lenoir, NC 28645 The Foard Tigers basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Hibriten Panthers to 39 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Lincoln for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Foard will battle a Rebels team coming off a 54-36 non-league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 1-5.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Newton-Conover was nudged by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
