December 9, 2022: Lakewood, CA 90713 Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Compton Tarbabes (Compton, CA) in a Moore challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Tarbabes enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Compton Early College (Compton, CA).
The Chiefs now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loara for a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. Santa Fe will confront a Saxons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Century (Santa Ana, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 1-3.
