December 9, 2023: Toledo, OH 43608 The Africentric Early College Nubians (Columbus, OH) basketball crushed the host Woodward Polar Bears (Toledo, OH), 70-26 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Nubians (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH). The Scots go into the Columbus City - South test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Walnut Ridge walloped Stivers School for the Arts (Dayton, OH), 84-61, in a non-league test.
The Polar Bears now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host St. John's Jesuit for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Woodward will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 56-53 league win over St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH). The Titans record now stands at 2-0.
