North Carolina High School Basketball - Southampton nudges Albemarle School
December 9, 2023: Elizabeth City, NC 27909 Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Southampton upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Windsor (Windsor, VA) to clash with the Dukes in a Tri-Rivers bout on Thursday, December 14. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Windsor lost 81-33 in their recent non-league bout against Smithfield (Smithfield, VA)
Next up, the Colts clash with the TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Albemarle School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 50-36 non-league loss to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA).
