Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Nicolet Knights (Glendale, WI), 72-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop McNamara upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic won 57-54 in their recent non-league bout against Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY)

Next up, the Knights play the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Nicolet will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 72-43 league win over Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).
