Louisiana High School Basketball - Carroll tops Port Allen
December 9, 2023: Port Allen, LA 70767 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA) and the host Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), saw Carroll's basketball squad knock off Port Allen by a count of 54-45.
With the victory, Carroll upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Woodlawn-Shreveport lost 41-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Pelicans play the East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Port Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
