December 9, 2023: Athens, GA 30605 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) and the visiting Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA), saw Cedar Shoals's basketball squad overcome Jackson County by a tally of 80-72.
With the victory, Cedar Shoals improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to North Hall (Gainesville, GA) to confront the Trojans in a AAAA Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. North Hall won 80-67 in their recent league challenge against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 84-50 non-league win over Johnson (Gainesville, GA).
