Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Central Catholic can't hold off Gateway
December 9, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 The Gateway Gators basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Central Catholic Vikings to 44 in the Gators non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gators now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Gateway will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-1.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Neighborhood Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Neighborhood Academy edged Pittsburgh Project (Pittsburgh, PA), 71-21, in a non-league contest.
